MyTacklebox is a small, independently run social logbook for recreational anglers. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to create an account.
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
One person per account. Do not impersonate other people.

2. Lifetime access ($5, one time)

Browsing is free. Logging catches, liking, commenting, following, and messaging require a one-time payment of $5.00 (USD). There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
"Lifetime" means for as long as MyTacklebox operates. If we ever shut the service down we will give at least 30 days' notice and let you export your data.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Refunds: ask within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. A refund or chargeback ends lifetime access on that account.
Access may be removed without refund if an account is suspended for breaking these terms.

3. Your content

You own the photos and text you post. You give MyTacklebox a non-exclusive licence to store, resize, and display them on the site according to the visibility you choose (public, followers, or private).
Only post photos you took or have the right to share.
You can delete any catch at any time, export everything from Settings, or delete your whole account.

4. Conduct

Do not post or send anything that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, spam, or that shares someone else's private information. Do not try to break, overload, scrape, or get around the security of the site. Use the Report and Block buttons when something is wrong — we review every report.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Fishing laws

You are responsible for following local fishing regulations, licences, seasons, and size/bag limits. Nothing on MyTacklebox is legal or safety advice. Location details you share are shared at your own choice — consider keeping secret spots vague.

6. No warranty

The site is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and backed up, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change and significant changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
